R&B star Beyonce Knowles is super excited about her debut fragrance, claiming that her fans already love it. The ‘Crazy in Love’ hitmaker has been flooded with compliments ever since she has launched the perfume, reported People magazine.

“I’ve been working on it for a while now. I was on tour for a year, and I have meet-and-greets with fans. I’ve never in my life gotten so many compliments.

“The fans loved it. They were like, ‘I love that, I’m getting that, why isn’t it out right now? I need it!,” said Beyonce.

The fragrance, which will arrive in stores in February, has been named ‘Beyonce Heat’, taking inspiration from the heated performances the 28-year-old singer delivers.

“A lot of my performances have had fire involved, so we thought ‘Heat’. Also, red is one of my favourite colours, as is gold,” she said.

The singer looked to the past for the bottle’s design. Beyonce is joining the long list of celebrities with their own fragrances - but the “Sweet Dreams” singer’s might be a little bit hotter than the rest. The entertainer will launch Beyonce Heat in February - something she believes is perfect for all the independent women out there “My fragrance is a unique expression of a woman’s powerful sensuality,” Beyonce said in a statement to Access Hollywood. “The scent thrills and enthralls, drawing you in. At the same time, it is elegant and feminine with an air of mystery. I created this fragrance for self-assured women everywhere, for women who are not afraid to desire and to be desired.” The singer has already been receiving praise from people lucky enough to get a whiff of her new scent. “I’m so happy with it,” she told Women’s Wear Daily. “I’ve been working on it for a while now. I was on tour for a year, and I have meet-and-greets with fans. I’ve never in my life gotten so many compliments. Coty (the company releasing the fragrance) has their own testing, but that was my testing! Th

Just in case two lots of X Factor each weekend aren’t enough to get your Cheryl Cole fix, the Fight for this Love singer has just announced that she’ll be hosting her very own Saturday night TV show.

A Night In With Cheryl Cole will air this coming Saturday 12th December from 6.30 till 7.30… A pre X Factor treat if you will.
Expect to see CC performing songs from her new album with a special guest performance from her 3 Words collaborator, will.i.am.
And the musical extravaganza won’t stop there… Cheryl will also be welcoming artists who have been her musical heroes, friends and influences over the years. Among them Rihanna, Will Young and Alexandra Burke.

British singer, model and X Factor judge Cheryl Cole has traded in her glossy locks for a slightly scruffier appeal.
She stepped out for Saturday night’s show without her normally long mane of hair.

Her extensions, believed to cost around 750 ($A 1350), are normally braided around her real hair at the root.
However, last week Cheryl came under fire for her extensions, as some people felt the fact that she wore them was slightly misleading.

It’s war! N-Dubz star Tulisa has branded La Roux singer Elly Jackson a “tw*t”. The La Roux Quicksand Video is very popular at the moment.

The singer is not happy with recent comments made by Jackson, when she described R&B music as being “kind of empty” and “really, really bad”.

An angry Tulisa has now hit back at the flame-haired ‘In For The Kill’ hitmaker, saying: “She basically said all women who do urban music and UK R&B dress too sexily, so when I heard that, I was insulted.”

“I’m not one to bitch.” Tulisa added to Heat. “Even if I don’t like someone, it’s not my style to do that. Then I hear that she’s dissing everyone and saying the music is crap. I mean, that’s just rude.”

“Where was she brought up - in a barn? You don’t talk about other people’s jobs like that. It’s just wrong. I think she’s a tw*t.”

Tulisa was then asked who would win a fight between herself and Elly, to which she jokingly replied: “Oh, definitely me. She wouldn’t last five minutes with me.”

“I’ve been sparring with Fazer and Dappy since the age of five,” she said. “I don’t have to tell you the amount of black eyes I’ve given. No doubt about that. She don’t wanna go there.”

Now that’s class…

N-Dubz are releasing their second album ‘Against All Odds’ on 16th November, and they’re going on tour this winter - get tickets here.

Kanye West was born in 1977 in Atlanta. But when he was a child his family moved to Chicago. In the childhood he liked different kinds of music: soul, jazz and of course hip-hop.

Nowadays he has already became a well known person. He is supposed to be an infant prodigy of beat maker. “Time” entered him in the list of 100 the most influential people on our planet. And it really means very much. You can like his music or hate, but no one can be indifferent.
That was his beats, that made nostalgic mood of Jay-Z’s album “Blueprint”. And it is he that stands behind the Beanie Sigel’s super hit “The Truth”. He is the author of club trek “Stand Up” Ludacris. And again the song that suggests a deep reflection “Get By” (by Talib Kweli) is his work. It’s impossible not to recognize his talent. With his beats he as none else emphasizes, supplements and intensify the mood of song.

On October 23, 2002 Kanye West had a car accident. As a result he got a serious jaw trauma. There was even a real threat he could not speak any more. But he managed to do it.

And moreover on February 2004 he released his debut solo album “College Dropout”. And the first single “Through The Wire” has drawn a very big attention. This year he also was a producer of debut Twist’s album “Kamikaze”. Twist is the owner of the fastest reading. He was even entered in the Guinness Book of World Records.

Kanye also worked on Alicia Keys’ single “You Don’t Know My Name”. As a result he has been nominated on Grammy more than 10 times. He won such nominations as The best rap album of the year “College Dropout”, The best rap song “Jesus Walks” and his song “You Don’t Know My Name” performed by Alicia Keys won the nomination The best R&B song.

In 2005 he worked on the most long-awaited release of the year Common’s album “Be”. He also released scandalous single “Diamonds From Sierra Leone” that awake conscience of those people who wear diamond jewelry. You see in Africa people die while searching these gems. And it’s only for a star of show business to wear them on one of those parties. Next Kanye West’s album will be called “Late Registration” and it is going to be released at the end of August. They say disk will be extremely socio provocative.

Kanye West in Great Britain.

Recently has been known that the world star of hip-hop has planned to perform next year on February in London on the stage of the Theatre Royal Drury Lane. In addition confirmed dates of the tour through the country were declared.

22 Cardiff Arena

26 London Theatre Royal

28 Birmingham NEC

Meantime next week on the 5th of December the release of the single “Heard’Em Say” from West’s album “Late Registration” will take place.

Kanye West. He makes beats grand.

That’s who pretend to be a year discovery. As the producer from Chicago he brought much money and honor to the label Roc-A-Fella with the help of his beats. And this time he has appeared as MC with an album “College Dropout”. The debut turned to be extremely successful. Platinum chain and medallion Roc were put on his neck. And this meant he was accepted in the ranks of great.

Today he has no need to appear for a moment in other’s clips as Neptunes do. He has his own clips. Kanye West’s trek is not a tribute to fashion now. It is a basic necessity for every slightest ambitious musician. Journal “Hip-Hop Connection” grubs out all cherished secrets of Chicago hit maker. The followers of Sherlock Holmes and James Bond turned out to be devilishly quick so today we can introduce you the secret Kanye West’s files.

Kanye is a man of fashion.
RocaWear closing doesn’t satisfy his ideas of style. Kanye prefers polo-neck shirts and sweaters, copying style of 90s. Favorite brands of Mister-Stylish-Guy are well known. They are polo Lacoste, perfume Jean Paul Gaultier and of course bags Louis Vuitton; recall “I`m Kon The Louis Vuitton Don.” He shows good taste, doesn’t he?

Did they have rap in Chicago before Kanye?

Certainly! Chi-Town is famous by some outstanding characters simultaneously. At first we should mention a rapper Common Sence that had to reduce his stage-name up to just Common because of claims of corporation, that has released flakes of the same name. A venerable producer No ID is also known with underground-hip-hop circles. Moreover Kanye think him to be one of his teachers. At the middle 90s Chi-Town has been shaken of Do Or Die group’s hits. It was they who held the banner and held it high. Twista has helped them. Rapper that entered in the Guinness Book of World Records for his fast reading and he took part in the most famous hit of Do Or Die “Po Pimp”. Nowadays Twista is on the same level as Kanye. He is one of a loved Chicago pupil. It’s thanks to the successes of his last album “Kamikaze”. Could it be possible without Kanye’s participation? Certainly not!

Change is good. Just ask the millions of unsigned artists worldwide trying to get their music heard. Since the music industry is changing drastically, unsigned musicians are able to make their music available to listeners. Record labels are realizing new techniques need to be created in order to promote music, and find new talent.

The result has been a surge of music-based websites. These sites allow artists to create their own websites, upload MP3s and promote music free of cost. One website which has received much attention is iSOUND.COM.

A musician himself, D.J. Burdick’s purpose has been clear from the beginning: create a website that allows unsigned artists to upload MP3s so they can share their music with the world. Burdick, the founder and creator of the music-based website iSOUND.COM, began his career in 1999, shortly after graduating from high school. At first, the main focus of iSOUND.COM was to give visitors more information about their favorite bands.

“I was looking for information about artists I liked, and I couldn’t find anything comprehensive on the Internet,” says Burdick. “So, I decided to create my own website.”

He then spent one year developing and implementing iSOUND.COM. In 2000, Burdick relocated to Dallas, Texas to attend Southern Methodist University. In Dallas, Burdick realized that it was difficult to find gigs and get his music heard. That is when he had an idea.

“I decided to expand iSOUND.COM. I wanted to make it a music community where artists could share their music with the world,” says Burdick.

While attending university, Burdick continued working on his website. In 2004, he graduated from SMU’s Cox School of Business. Along with a few college friends, he decided to make iSOUND.COM his full-time career.

“Working on my own company has allowed me to work on what I’m truly passionate about. I get to focus on what I believe in,” says Burdick. “I wanted to make iSOUND.COM my full-time job because I had so many ideas. Working for a large, established company may provide more security but that wasn’t dynamic enough for me. I needed something that would allow me to control the vision of the business and let me implement my business ideas. It is very rewarding to see over a million people visiting iSOUND per month who are sharing in this vision and desire to bring great unheard music to the masses.”

The music industry is changing drastically. MP3s are no longer just about illegal pirating and file sharing. In fact, MP3s are becoming imperative to unsigned artists wishing to promote their music on the Internet. There are tons of talented artists out there. Unfortunately, they do not have the money to push into advertising or music promotion. The solution to this problem: level the playing field by promoting on the internet.

“The [music] industry is going through a huge transitional phase. Everything is changing and the [record] labels are realizing this. They are now using many of the same avenues to promote their artists as those available to unsigned artists,” says Burdick.

In fact, a complete industry of music-based websites has developed, allowing musicians to promote their music over the Internet. The way iSOUND.COM works is that artists may sign up and upload their music for free. Staff members then listen to the songs and rate the music. Listeners visit the site, discover new music, and earn points for sharing that music with their friends. The most popular artists on iSOUND.COM receive thousands of plays per month. Musicians can literally gain thousands of new fans just by uploading their music onto popular music websites and networking via those sites.

“There is a growing group of signed bands getting a large share of radio and [music] video play that started entirely by promoting on the Internet and playing small clubs,” says Burdick. “The future of music is on the Internet. Get your music uploaded, spend a few hours a week promoting online, and you’ll be amazed at the results.”

Do you know why playing guitar is so much easier than playing piano? It’s because guitar players learn how to use chords first. Even before note reading!

They usually learn how to play chords in the first position. Called open position chords, the beginning guitarist quickly learns how to finger this position and can immediately create music. That’s why so many people love the guitar and want to learn it!

They don’t waste time learning “the masters” or anything like that at all. Nope. It’s all contemporary. Unless of course it’s classical guitar.

Now why can’t those interested in learning piano have the same benefits? After all, it’s not like everyone wants to learn how to play Bach or Beethoven.

The good news is you can play piano using only chords. But not just any chords. I’m talking about learning a chord structure that will have you sounding like a professional right away! It’s called the Open Position Chord and with it, you’ll be able to create your own unique music!

I know it sounds far-fetched. I didn’t think I could make my own music either until I discovered this chord position from a book titled “The Four-Way Keyboard System.” In it, the author Alan Swain goes into great detail about the benefits of learning this chord structure.

I didn’t have to really read what he wrote. I just played it. And I was hooked! Here was something I could learn quite easily. And I could learn it in all 12 keys - just as easily! I had found what I was looking for. A modern sounding chord that would let me improvise with both hands at the piano right away AND sound good doing it!

Most of us know what triads are. This 3-note chord structure has been used to introduce students to chording on the piano. But learning triads isn’t necessarily the best place to start. In fact, there really is no good reason to begin your piano studies with triads.

Listen, if your goal is to read music and play kum-ba-ya, then by all means, spend countless hours learning how to read music and play triads. But, if you want to improvise and create your own unique music, I can think of no better chord structure than the open position chord!
