I really think everybody needs a still time during any given day; a time to switch off and do some thoughtful exercises. Maybe it might be simply viewing spiritual art, or going out for a stroll and observing the trees and wildlife about you, or practicing some yoga or gentle exercise. In these modern times, we all live in a hectic environment where we’re all barraged with info with each and every waking second.
Yet, even when we suppose we are chilling out, often we aren’t. For instance, it always bewilders myself that people reckon that the television is a passive form of way to chill out. It’s oftentimes the opposite though - program producers feel the need to awaken the viewer’s emotions on a regular basis, and you can end up becoming awakened with fear and feeling emotionally charged simply by watching idiot box. Thus people have to try to seek out some quiet time at some point in the day. They should unplug from their daily existence and search a moment of solitude - an opportunity to keep track of their thoughts and even perhaps calm such thought streams down a touch. However, even if your thought processes are “noisy” - that’s acceptable - the quiet time is a chance for you to identify these thoughts and question yourself just why you are pondering such thoughts. All in all, finding some tranquil time for oneself each and everyday is a very healthy habit to form.
